Thanks for alleviating my concerns. I bought this hull used, with the paint mostly stripped off and the radio box sort of thrown together. I later found an unused, older K&B 7.5cc outboard motor, Model 8702, also on Ebay. Last year I started to repaint the hull using Klass Kote epoxy paint. Everything went fine, and was looking real good, until I applied the second coat. I had cleaned the spray gun after the first coat with paint thinner. When I used the spray gun again for the second coat, the paint did some really strange and ugly things to the paint. I was so frustrated with the situation, that it sat in the garage for year before I decided to start on it again. I found out later that I should have used a lacquer thinner instead of the paint thinner to clean the gun. Right now, I am rebuilding the radio box. It will be a slow process due to work constraints and other obligations on the home front to keep my wife happy. I'll post pictures as I go along, and hopefully, if someone sees me making a mistake, they'll be able to correct me.
