I think I have spotted the fatal flaw in his design.....
The pack is back mounted, with the exhaust directing thrust to the ground.
So, OK for vertical flight - well, sort of in theory giving the benefit of the doubt right..... soooooo
Forward flight, vector exahust away from body, tipping forwards a la helicopter, and forward flight achieved. Yeah?, with me?.
To come to a halt........
Vector nozzles forward.
Hmmm and burn legs off whilst halting, hence the extra flight time as body mass is reduced.[:@]
Do we take our hat off to the guy who sold the turbines or do we lambast him for poor practices!
