Default RE: help with cold weather starting

ok you can pretty much forget answering this post ever again. I took back that POS STORM RTR...i ran it 4 times and it broke 3times. Once was interference with remote and it hit a curb at somewhat low speed, 15mph maybe and broke A-arm. Second time i was turning hard and drifting corners and the steering turnbuckle just broke. Looked at it and its nothing but POT METAL...not even solid metal. JEEZ. 3rd time was today i warmed it up and drove for 2mins and heard a loud grind followed by clanking. The screw holding the bell housing gear on , just dissappeared and gears ground the crap out of each other. Not too mention i've had it 4days and already the pull start pulls half way out and then just slips the rest of the way.

I originally was going to by the jato, but i asked the sales guy the pros and cons of both jato and storm. He told me the storm was more durable, " you could jump a house and not break" probably figurativly speaking of course. Its faster and was $40 cheaper. Price wasnt an issue. I went in with $900 dollars. So i chose the storm. BIG MISTAKE. i took it back today and after 10min of talking with the owner, who said he has NEVER let someone return a car after running it, he bought back the storm for $40 less than retail, so i paid $85 more and got my JATO.

OMG this car is AWESOME. Started right up, broke it in with 5 tanks FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS to the letter. No problems with anything. The storm took an hour to start, wouldnt idle, ran too rich kept dying and fouling plugs. I accidently slid into a curb and then did a couple cart wheels with my jato tonight on grass. Didnt break a thing. So much for durablity

The other thing i didnt like was the salesman told me parts for the Storm were plentiful, YA RIGHT. If i wanted to rummage thru an old bin they had or order the part 3 days out. No other shop within 50miles has any parts. I HATE SALESMAN. but the good part is , he was there when i talked to owner and he didnt say a word. I'm sure he got in trouble...hehe.
