A gas engine has 2 or 3 ball bearings, two roller bearings, and 1 or 2 rings on the piston...Other than the seals on the crank, nothing else touches inside the engine...How come it takes 15 gallons of fuel to seat the piston rings ? Are the crank seals that tight ? Just wondering...
