You make a good point about the amount of nose room. In the pictures on the orignal post, the plane was the controlline version. The engine compartment was big enough for a OS 46la. Directly behind that was the fuel tank compartment which was close to 4" long. I think I know what you are getting at .... you are looking at that area for reciever and batteries. I think it will be big enough. The fusealage will probably need to be wider to hold the EDF ... so this should add to the room in the nose. Now if I use the E-Flite 46 motor .... what fan unit would you recommend? Also ... the elavon in the back will prpbably have a 1/8" spanner wire that will go through the center of the exhaust. Do you see any problems with that idea?
