Default RE: My New A7 ARF for Wren 44

Mike,

I'm still working out the installation details on this prototype, but it's looking like 2 servos on each of the main control surfaces including flaps. Add in a servo for retracts and brakes and I think that should do it. So looks like about 10 servos total. More or less all standard servos with the exception of the elevators, we're planning on higher torque for those surfaces (probably 70in-oz on each). Hardware installation should begin next week so I will be able to comment more so then.

Looking at the specs for the DS811 at 54in-oz, that should be plenty of torque for most everything with the exception of the elvators. Only drawback on the digital servos is the high current draw.
