awoollatt, if you have a 6CH Walkera TX, then it will not work regardless. You need one of the cables with the module that de-mixes the Walkera signal.
The straight 4 pin cable only works on the original 4CH zhen hua style transmitters.


This is an old post, but as a sidenote, I never did get that cable to work. I spent $30 and bought a proper cable for my Hitec Eclipse 7 and now use that with FMS and everything is groovy .
