As an instructor I get to help move my students into their second planes, and that usually means trimming and maiden flights on their second planes. I've had the opportunity to fly both of your choices and while I think that both are great flying planes and will do great for you I think that the 4-star is probably the better of the 2 planes. If I was forced to make a choice I would go for the 4-star.
