G'Day Mate,
Any chance of a photo of your thrust measuring setup. I have one where the digital fish scale is off to the side via a pully. I have always thought that there would be some losses in the pully. Does yours have the fish scale directly behind the slide?

I don't have any pics, but my scale is directly behind and a little to the side, and the drawer slides elevate the rig a couple of inches, so the scale does not get toasted. A pulley going to the front might be better. I doubt the losses from a pulley system would add up to much with a turbine, but probably add up to a bunch with the little ICDFs I also test.
