Default RE: Thunder Runner needs help

the ThunderRunner is a (illegal) clone of the ITC BladeRunner helicopter. only reason its illegal is because the BRs rotors are patented, and the clone companies stole the idea and put them on their own heli. but, enough about that...

the thunder runner, wild wheels, winner, and all the other clones do the same thing as the BladeRunner, and work on the same principles. the main thing about any of these helis, is that they're inherently stable. simply meaning, they were meant to hover in one place and be stable doing that. making it go forwards, backwards, left or right goes against everything the rotors are trying to do by design.

there's a few things you can do to get some better forward flight response, but no matter what you do, this style of helicopter will never go faster than a slow walking speed. check this thread for some ideas, its for the ITC BladeRunner, but as i said, they're all the same really (its all in the rotor heads). http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_2601563/tm.htm
