Well, I never had this happen before.. I was running my MT2 on a large field with my son running the gs sut.. we were just goofing around seeing how much faster the mt2 is than the GS sut... Well, after finally getting an even start, the cen took off and was quickly pulling away from the GS... When it came time to make the first turn, I backed off the throttle and nothing happened... I had no control of the throttle... The steering still worked fine... I figured something came loose on the servo arm, so I turned off the radio to activate the failsafe.... Nothing[X(]... now I realize I'm quickly running out of field... I'm heading towards a tennis court and a chain fence.. I carefully turned the wheel to the left and tried to turn the truck around towards me at least to get the truck in a larger area... I didn't want the truck to flip over as the engine was running flat out and would most likely be damaged before I could reach it..
When the truck was turned around... Almost flipped over but didn't.. I turned it towards my direction and drove straight towards me... Not the smartest move, but seemed good at the time.. when it was just in front of me I reached down and grabbed the front of the truck and flipped it over... kind of worked except a 7 pound piece of metal and plastic going 45 mph doesn't stop real easily... It bounced off my hand and crashed into my shin and knee... When the truck stopped on the ground, I ran over and covered the stinger and shut off the motor... My son was laughing and thought I did that on purpose to show off for the people who were watching... I realized that I hurt my hand and have a big bruise on my leg, But I did save the truck..

When I got the truck home and looking at it I found that the problem was the rotary carb arm became loose and wasn't controlling the carb... the brake linkage was jammed in the carb linkage (don't know how this happened) so I couldn't stop the truck... The only other damage occured when I stopped the truck consisted of a broken front shock eyelet on bottom.. Broken diff cup in front.. broken control arm in the rear and broken rear diff cup... Nothing else was damaged... This damage was due to my not so subtle way of stopping the truck, but thankfully, the truck is already back together and waiting for the next nice day...
