Default RE: almost lost my mt2

Michelob78... Just for the record, I run two throttle return springs and a failsafe... The carb arm.. Plastic on the os 18 became loose somehow and slipped to a downfacing position. This somehow bound up the brake linkage preventing the brakes from working.. I bent the brake linkage with the servo..(hitech 645mg) trying to stop the truck.. The pull start cord was also intertwined into this whole mess...
Anyway.. stopping the truck like I did seemed like a good idea at the time..I'm just glad it worked out OK... I wouldn't call it brave, just didn't want to lose a great engine and truck.. I certainly don't do that with my airplanes.. I just let them go
