I have ridden dirtbikes all of my life and I have always used PJ1 filter oil on my bikes air filter. I have experimented with this oil on my Savage filter. It worked but when I went to clean it, the RC oil came right out and the filter returned to white, (like new) but the PJ1 oil stained the filter. Do you think it may be too thick for the RC? Am I the only 1 who has tried this?

ANY type of 2 stroke a/f oil will be fine. I use Maxima FFT. The stuff is 20 times cheaper than hobby filter oil. And a quart will last you a lifetime.
