Eddie, at what range do you think you will lose your model at?
At least 1000 meter, is no problem with IPD.
You would almost certainly loose it in a sight issue, long before it`s range issue.
Things are different on the groud, or close to it. App. half the range.
Btw, great tip about what happens too far out!

The transmitter was in the shop, closed up so I could see the TV...The little car was around 400 meters down
the street... When I went inside my friends house 100 meters away I would start to loose TV.. and loose a little
Control ... I saw Rocketman drive 2500 feet away with his plane running, and he was out of site because of the
crown in the runway... When flying the rig with the Profi 4000 we would get a bump evey now and then.. It
was really fast and hard.. So they are not perfect but do have more range than anything I have used..
