I built the LT for my first plane and used the .46FX OS for power. That motor is way more power than required to fly the plane but is perfect for more advanced models. When I wrecked mine first time I replaced the .46 with a OS .32FX and it flies wonderfully well with it. If you are worried about crashing and rebuilding the LT go with one of the extremely durable plastic and metal trainers (Armidillo or Spad) and concentrate on flying.
