Default RE: A Bad Day Gets Worse

Complacency is dangerous, no doubt. In this case it a total case of complacency. The plane had been flying so well for so many flights, no squawks, and I just got distracted and BAM! No more airplane. Not the first time, nor the last... but it doesn't hurt any less.

The actual impact was not very severe. The airplane cartwheeled and the only damage, as severe as it was, was the fuselage. The wings are repairable, and so far all of the electronics are okay. I'll do some testing in the coming days and will send out for repair what needs it. The elevator servo for the Impact (now I REALLY hate that name LOL) is surely going out and maybe a receiver or two for good measure.

Chad, the batteries are fine so far. I watched them all morning and no puffing or anything. I think they made it. Funny how things have changed. The only truly expensive part of this airplane were the batteries for the motor! And they seemed to come out fine. The impact was not very hard anyway.
