Default RE: My New A7 ARF for Wren 44

Hi Mugenkidd,

I like that color scheme. I have a plastic model look just like that. That's the marine paint scheme. However, I would stick to the Edward Paint scheme because the wing tips are red.

I have bought a F16 from Tam, but the gears and other stuffs, are costing me over 1,500 dollars. It's a fun scale and the wings are not fiberglassed, just monokoted. It's going to be my weekend flyer. One nice thing about the A7 is that it is scale and the landing gear oleo strut looks cool and comes with the kit. I am getting my turbine training on the SM F15. I just can't spend 4k to 6k on a rookie or any non-scale trainer. A7 is going to be my backup turbine plane. I have just spent only $400 dollars on the servos comparing to $1000 servos that I spent on my SM15. That's a good saving there.

One side note: The wren 44 is smaller so it looks less scary to some folks in our clubs. One club member would always give us a hard time complaining about the noise level of the jet. Jet is noiser in a close range but the high pitch noise dissipates faster in greater distance so it's actually quieter. However, for some reasons they are just having so much misconceptions about jets. I think a 44% 3D with a spinning big prop is more lethal than a flying jet.
