Dan, I started at the recommended distance back from the leading edge and moved it back from there. The next time I have it put together I will put it on my"Long Legs" balancer and give you the exact distance back. I do know that I have it balanced such that I can pull a 45 degree upline, roll inverted and it stays on course - no up or down needed, only application of rudder if it needs wind correction. Now, I did do some mixing of rudder - elevator -aileron to get true yaw-only rudder input. If you don't do that, you will be fighting the plane all over the sky!!!
