The landing gear wire is reinforced with a balsa triangle piece wedged between the leading and trailing wire of gear. The balsa is secured with fiber-glass which is saturated with medium CA. The pants fit over the assembly without a hitch and if needed in future the wheel pant can be secured to balsa for more stability.
