I test fitted the belly pan after cutting notch at center and initial trimming of sides. I guess I am one of the lucky ones as the belly pan appears to be a very good fit. The rear of the pan is only an 1/8 of an inch high at the rear saddle area, just a bit higher than the dime seen in the accompanying photo.
