The plane looks terrific for an experienced flyer. For a beginner, this plane will be a disaster. If you have never flown before, and don't have a trainer to work with you, you are at least two planes away from flying this P-51. Look up the various beginner threads and get yourself a good beginner plane (yes, most beginner planes are ugly, but they are designed to be easy to fly and difficult to destroy). If you need suggestions about which plane to get, ask and you shall receive more information than you will know what to do with. Most of the people on these threads are very anxious to help beginners.
