my favorite retrieve method is to tie 100 ft of weedwhacker cord to a small c-clamp and chuck it up and over the branch the AA is stuck in. the clamp brings the line back down to you after you''ve thrown it over the offending branch, then just yank that sucker holding both ends of the line until the AA pops free. good luck!
