Usually, when ambient temperatures get below about 40 degrees F, model engines can become problematic to run. Usually, though, the main problem is the modeler getting too cold. If you get your engine started and drive it around, you'll be OK. It will cool well and develop good power. As it breaks in, you'll be able to lean the engine towards peak RPM. As long as it's on the rich side of peak, you'll be OK.
