I made one of those planes for a friend. He had to have the Saito 300 Twin. It was terribly underpowered and heavy. A DA50R or something in that range would probably be a much better suited engine. He liked JR radio and we had problems with FM RX and digital servos, so H9 replaced the RX with a PCM version and it still had noise issues. I put RF chokes on any extension longer than 20" and that didn't help. It was like a cursed plane or something. He still has it, trying to sell it for almost what he paid for it and that was a couple of years ago.

Set up dual or triple rates with 20% expo on the rudder, 35% on the rest. Use the manual settings as the high rates, then do a 75% and a 50% rates or 65% if you only have dual rates. Be sure you do this on the elevator at least! It will snap in a heart beat without it on the elev...
