Dick, is that my Cap? The red on the bottom is familiar

It has a ZDZ40 and weighs 13#, 1200 in^2. Mike McConville design, as reworked by Dick Hanson. Best flying plane I have EVER flown, and I have flown dozens of large scale planes. I think it is time to get that back out of storage.

Incidentally, that ZDZ40 is quite light, just about exactly 4# with all the accessories, ignition, muffler, battery, and switch. It spins the Bambula 20x10 in the 7200 - 7500 range (same as a Moki 2.10). Nice thrust and a great engine for a plane in the 13# range.
