mine does occasionally. I disconnect the cord, turn the airplane on, then off again, turn the TX on, then off again, then reconnect. sometimes I have to do it a couple times before I see the green light. this has happened with more than one AA (I have 5).

I do remember leavingb it plugged in once without the green light lighting up. it charged anyway.
