Hey all I recently got an Align 430L 4050Kv and Align 35A ESC. I havnt been able to fly because the battery is garbage and I'm waiting on some 1800mAh 12C ones to arrive. The problem is I ordered the 4050Kv motor without really knowing what the "Kv" value meant. Well now that I do, I can tell that the head speed is going to be insane with the 11T pinion I have, which is the smallest pinion I could find that fits the 3.17mm (1/8") output shaft. Does anybody have any idea where I could find an 8T pinion that'll fit this output shaft? Or if I can take an 8T 2mm or 2.13mm pinion and bore it out to use on my motor?

Also, does anybody know how many teeth are on the main (the largest) gear? I thought it was 54 teeth or some such but I can't remember. By my calculations, if it is indeed a 54 tooth gear, with my current 11T pinion gear, and a 4050Kv motor, and an 11.1v lipo, would lead to a theoretical head speed of 9157RPMs! Or more than 3x the head speed that it should be.
