Now I'm going back a bit to when I ran the S100, but I used to shut down the engine with the throttle trim, closeing the carb off. I would leave it in that position when fueling for the next flight and leave it down until right before flipping the prop. That seemed to help. I don't recall any flooding issues and that was with an easy fueler. I did get the Cline regulator towards the S100's second season. That purchase was to put the tank on the CG. Funny how the YS 110 makes you forget all that stuff.

As GJ said, start with the suggested rates and it won't be very long before your crankn' them up. Good luck with the maiden.
