see attached photos , check the difference of length from original paddle shaft ( on top of rotor blade ) and my modification .
you will see also that im even using a repaired rotor blade which is still holding the heli very stable. please check the setting of my electrics . . . look at the place where i put my antenna , i placed it inside a balloon tube and zipped tied in tail boom stabilizer
Yup the flybar length increase is nice. I did the same thing with one heli to improve it's stability.
The antenna however runs foward towards the ESC which could be problematic. I keep mine well away from the ESC and other electronics, usually running the servo and electronics wires on one side of the heli and the antenna on the other.
You may want to shorten or cut the tube and make the antenna enter it at the end of the RX, where it exits the RX case, then route the antenna down the tail verticle fin.
