RE: Freedom flyer
Dude-
I have never owned or flown a Freedom Flyer, but some people are happy with it. Check out this discussion:

On the other hand, some people have had very poor luck with the Freedom Flyer. Since this is your first plane, it is hard to know whether the problem lies with the plane or with your inexperience. In general, Megatech has a poor reputation.
What happens when you fly it? Does it go out of control or does it seem like it doesn't have enough power?
Do you know anyone with R/C flying experience who can help you?
