Great to see a fella your age getting into the hobby! Like some of the other guys said though, $50 is a lot of hard earned cash to put into an old engine. That same money, plus maybe a couple bucks borrowed from your Dad would get you a nice new motor.

Don't throw that old Veco away though. Make a nice display case for it, and enjoy looking at it.
