Don't worry about the white wire, It just ends inside the wrap on the pack. It's nor connected to anything. You probably just have a bad solder joint on the red or black wire inside the pack. While I'm at it, I wouldn't use a Hydramax pack with digital servos or more than 4 or 5 analog standard servos. They have a high internal resistance and voltage drops dramatically with a load as low as 1 amp.
