Other than the fact that JR connectors don't have a polarity tab, I don't think there's a difference. However, I recall reading that the JR tx charge plug has a different polarity than Futaba.
Yes JR TX is revers to Futaba, and to tell you the truth I hate that, you always have to pay attention how you make the connections, and since I have both!!!!
