Thanks for the knowledge on the wood. I have always worried about it, especially when my first Telemaster hit an obstructions and the first thing to go was the 1/4 inch solid wood mount. Live and learn.

Where do you guys get the aircraft grade plywood? Do you have to get it by mail order or does a local store carry it. Sounds like a stupid question, but I tried Home Depot and two local hobby stores. The hobby stores only sell balsa, so I settled for solid poplar and or oak at Home Depot.
