Just a comment on your request for mixing ideas. I have been flying the U-Can-Do .46 for quite a while and no mixing is actually required in my opinion. However, I'm sure the .60 will want to float in a high wind as the .46 does and I used the flapperon setting (Futaba channels 1 and 6) and set up for about 30 degree spoilers.
I believe in using the manufacturers settings for low rate, but for 3-D get all the throw you can mechanically, use rigid push rods, and punch in some negative expo for the really wild high rate throws until you get used to the feel.
