Hi all, I'm trying to get this Aveox brushless motor/esc set made specifically for the Zagi to work. This is actually my first brushless motor ever, so I'm kinda unfamiliar. Anyway, the thing doesn't want to run on the stock Zagi battery. It arms then cuts out, and if I ever get it to arm enough to fly, it goes like heck for about a minute then quits. I sent it back to Aveox, and they said everything checks out on it. They think it was the battery, but I have 2 stock 9.6V 1700 MAH NiCads and I get the same results with each of them. That should be enough voltage! What recommendations do you have for batteries? An R/C car battery won't fit in the Zagi, or I'd try that too.
