You could probably use two, a left and right hand, propellers about 1-3/4" in diameter.
Three or four blade are fine what ever is more scale for the year you modeled the ship.
My destroyer runs well on the 1-3/4" props and is about the same dimensions at 1/72nd scale.

You are running two of the shafts, or are you running all four?
