I looked around the web last night to see if there are classes availible to learn 3D programming. There are several locally availible here (funny as I live in the middle of nowhere) through the community college. I should specify that the classes are accredited by the CC but they are actually offered online. I thought it might be fun to take a class and learn the basics. Then I found out the class costs 4500.00, YIKES! (they offer the 1 year version of 3Ds Max for 148.00 or so) I take classes at the CC once in a while for the heck of it, but they never cost more than a couple of hundred dollars. This class is of course a full featured, tutored, course to train you to be a game developer. I wouldnt mind seeing a course, like I said, in just the basics.
