for anyone who may have missed snaps 101---
the aircraft is loaded in horizontal flight -but--- it is completely unloaded in perfectly vertical flight
so
any snap up/down/45 - level - must be done with far less inputs of PITCH as the attitude goes from level -to 45-to vertical
also any maneuver decreases speed (energy gets used - so, do the verticals with power ON going up and a little tiny bit of power going down vertically. otherwise the plane slows and in up lines (vertical -it can be dramatic.
You may not see any pitch in the verticals snaps -even when the snap is a true snap -
why?
the wing is not loaded -
If you think it is -raise your hand-and tell me why
