me and a friend checked his da 50 with mejzlik 23x8 spinning about 6600 rpm and got 26 lb on digital fish scale...also tried a name brand wood (can't remember which one) and got about a pound less pull.
Sounds about right. I prefer to fly at a power to weight ratio of 2:1. So that means I would not use this motor for any plane over 13Lbs-14 in a stretch.
Most of these 30% planes are coming out around 15-16lbs.... thats why I'm waiting for an engine I can use...or a lighter plane....
