That's why some people fly electric planes and small profile planes. It's too bad you have to have that much power to have fun. Less power does make it more challenging and difficult. That's part of the game. I'm pretty sure most engine manufacturers and plane manufacturers aren't holding anything back. They're giving modelers the best they can economically produce for the average guy. I'm glad I enjoy flying my Wild Hare Edge and Brison 3.2. I guess it doesn't take much to make me happy.


P.S. Flying a 50cc size gasser is waaaay more fun than flying a 6.25 pound plane with a Saito 100
