Default RE: jr rx and futaba tx compatability

ORIGINAL: CGRetired

I didn't hear any comments about the GWS receivers and flight packs.

Anybody care to comment? I have never tried one, I fly Airtronics and stick to Airtronics RX's and servo's... except for one application that is when I opted for Hitec micro's.
I've got some GWS servos in a few of my smaller planes. So far they are working great. I've also got a GWS receiver in my Slow Stick. No problems so far, but I'm not quite ready to trust any of my other planes to GWS receivers. I've had great results with Hitec Electron 6 receivers, which are available in either shift. I'm also taking a serious look at buying some receivers from Polks. Their 6 channel receiver uses synthesized frequency and shift select. No need to move jumpers or change crystals, just push a button and the receiver figures out what language (JR or Futaba) the transmitter is speaking.
