I agree[ a 2mm stainless steel tube provides alot better protection... do that in combination with raising your diff itself and you wont have to many diff problems.

This is one of the first things I tell people to upgrade when buying a 1/5 vehicle ....Just one of the nessary parts to be upgraded along with a steel pinion, 60 mm alloy spur carrier & alloy upper rear arms.
