A .46 too large? Guess it depends on what you want to do with it and your definition of "better" is.

I've got a .46 in mine, no extra weight added.. Battery in a hatch in the back. The only thing "for sure" is that your're saving a few ounces of weight and loosing a few pounds of thrust.

For me, I'd rather have those 6 oz's you save with the smaller engine and servos and have the power to fly in 15-20 mph wind (normal in Oklahoma).

To each their own.
