I finished covering the top wing and have moved on to finishing up the fuse prior to covering it. I didn't realize I had so much work to do on it before I can cover. I spent the better part of this evening just sanding, filling, and sanding the fuse.
I put the LG block in and shimmed it so that the angle was in line with the plans. I forgot to take a picture of that, I'll get some tomorrow.
I basically used the stock LG block & CA'd a piece of ply to the back for extra reinforcement. I used 2 x 4-40 blind nuts to hold the LG in place.
I also painted the cabanes. (I primed them prior to assembly, but wanted the bolts painted too).
We've had a couple good weather days here in Nebraska so I've spent most of my building time at the field flying.
