RE: Recommendation No.3 Code of Ethics

That code of ethics was very carefully prepared and is designed, not to cause any member hardship or embarrassment, but to safeguard our association. I am more than prepared to sign this document, and I would have severe misgivings about anyone who would refuse to do so.
It is high time that directorship of MAAC be restricted to those who are prepared to act ethically at all times.
The code has been published in the magazine. It is the responsibility of all directors to be familiar with all agenda items as you would know.
MAAC was challenged to be "businesslike" in a zone report last fall. I would have it no other way.
I fully expect this item to pass with 12 of 13 Board members in support.
