Default RE: Best Prep For Sport Scale Warbirds??

ORIGINAL: TideFlyer

Thanks Dave, but my question really is, " What are some good preparatory models to fly that would prepare one to properly fly sport scale warbirds? " Sorry if my original question was unclear.

UltraSport + -- It is fast & sensitive. If you limit the throws (use dual rates to do that) & fly it fast , you will get comfortable with a high-perfaormance plane. Then start adding weight to it & a steeper pitch prop, plus switch to high rates -- this will raise the landing speed, make you keep speed up in the turns & make you pay close attention to overcontrolling.

When you are happy there -- go fly warbirds. You will also have a killer sport plane in your hangar.
