Unfortunately, the German-made Actro motors are not well represented in the U.S. You can find some of the models at a rather obscure dealer called [link=http://www.hobbyclub.com/actro.htm]Hobby Club[/link].
Since converting a giant-scale plane to electric is a costly endeavor, please do some research before you decide to buy a power system. You can start your learning process by reading my article called, [link=http://www.gregcovey.com/Glow_Conversions_Made_Easy.htm]Glow Conversions Made Easy[/link].
You may also want to read my on-going thread on this same forum called, [link=http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_3570024/tm.htm]Hangar 9 33% Edge 540 - Part 3[/link]
We saw some new 10hp and 15hp electric inrunners at the WRAM show last weekend. These may provide a better choice and lower cost for your project. The shop called [link=http://www.finedesignrc.com/default.htm]Fine Design RC[/link] does not appear to have them on their Web site yet so I have queried them for information.
Good luck and welcome to clean and quiet electric flight!
