My ROO 2 is AUW 14 lb. wet, and you will not be disappointed in performance. I fly mine with PST J600 power at 12 lb thrust 160,000rpm... I would estimate top speed to be approx 140-150 mph. The great thing about the smaller MW 54 turbines is fuel economy, Iam getting easy 10 min + flights from 2 lt Kero.

Marty,

I'm thinking very seriously of picking up a J600 at FL. Jets if I can and when I take the P-80 out of my 'Roo, flying it with the J600 until the plane its destined for is ready. The thing is, I fly out of a 350' grass strip. With the P-80, I'm off in less than 1/2 the strip, and less than 1/3 of the strip if I lock the brakes until the turbine spools up. What kind of performance do you think I can expect out of our strip with a J600 in the 'Roo? The thing is, I could try it, but its a one-chance kind of thing because its not going to be pretty if it doesn't get off in time...

Thanks,
Bob
