newbie needs help
Richard Newman built his Roo light, at my urging (I never seem to be able to do it, but he can), due to the fact that the intended power plant was a RAM 500. He Monokoted everything that could be and did not mix the epoxy with a medium cement mixer as do I. I am uncertain of what the final weight was, but he could tell you. This plane was intended to be his first turbine bird. I have flown several Roos including two of my own. His was the best flying of them all. The 500 was a perfect match for the light Roo. He currently has a PST 600 on the way for it which should work out even better. I dare say this could be the ultimate sporty first turbine plane. The AV8TR is perhaps better for those who feel they want something slower and even easier to fly.
